Lepa Lepa: Where Luxury Meets Sustainability and Culture

The very name “Lepa Lepa” translates to “Boat” in the Bajau language, a nod to the vibrant festival called Regata Lepa, a water parade of colourfully decorated boats alive with singers and dancers inside, all representating a particular family or village. Our design reflects this inspiration, seamlessly blending with the natural environment.
A stunning creation by the award-winning architect StevenLeach SLA Group, has garnered recognition for Excellence Award for Hotel Category in 2016 for Lepa Lepa Resort’s astonishing design.

We actively participate in coral reef restoration projects, working alongside leading marine biologists to cultivate new coral colonies and replenish damaged reefs. Through informative talks and interactive workshops, you can learn about the vital role coral reefs play in the marine ecosystem and the threats they face. You might even have the opportunity to participate in a coral reef restoration project yourself, helping to plant new coral fragments and contribute to the health of the underwater world.
